The Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) is a trade association for companies who make, supply or fit flat glass and related products. This includes double glazing, Energy Efficient Windows, replacement windows, doors, conservatories, applied film, hardware, safety glazing, sealants, fire resistant glass, emergency glazing, decorative glass, secondary glazing, solar control and plastics. This site supplies information about the GGF and glass & glazing to the general public, architects and specifiers and Members.

GGF Members should click on ‘GGF Members’ at the top of the page and log in using their password for access to our Intranet containing Bulletin Boards and Discussion Forums.
To belong to the GGF companies must have been trading for 3 years, sign up to the GGF's Code of Good Practice and work to GGF Technical Standards. Companies are vetted to ensure that they have proper business premises and 2 years of audited accounts are checked as well as the take up of references.
For consumers the GGF provides protection for their deposits through the GGF's Deposit Indemnity Scheme and should a problem arise the GGF also provides a unique free Conciliation Service.
To ensure that that you are totally protected we recommend that when you are replacing your windows and doors you choose a GGF Member who is registered with FENSA, another competent persons scheme or go through your Local Authority Building Control Department and if you are interested in Energy Efficient Windows again, choose a GGF Member who has registered their products with the BFRC.
